Jesus tells us that...
“the kingdom of God is in the midst of you” (Luke 12:21).
But in our daily lives, the busyness and the noise and the constant going and doing that keeps us rooted in our world and culture, the kingdom of God can feel far off.
What would it look like to live moment by moment in the kingdom of God? When we become more aware of God’s presence in both the cosmic and the small, hidden places, how might that change our daily walk?
We invite you to join us to ponder these questions and discover a tangible sense of God’s kingdom in each of our lives.
Kingdom questions invite kingdom response, and we are overjoyed to meet together with women across our entire diocese—from our cathedral, to our church plants, to our beloved sister churches from all across the Upper Midwest.

Set along the serene shore of Green Lake, the conference center offers a beautiful, quiet environment that supports unhurried connection, prayer, and renewal.
What to Expect
At the retreat, you’ll hear teaching from Katherine Ruch, exploring how God’s kingdom meets us in both the ordinary and the profound. Our time together will include small group discussion, prayer time, contemplative space, and activities that foster connection and joy. We’ll share meals, worship together, and enjoy the beautiful lakeside setting at Green Lake Conference Center.
Katherine Ruch
is a writer, teacher, and speaker shaped by a life rooted in the Church, the arts, and Christian community. Raised in Brazil with missionary parents, she studied English at Wheaton College and Northwestern University. She is the wife of Bishop Stewart Ruch and encourages faithful, imaginative Christian living through her writing and teaching.
