07 Sep Province Announces Forthcoming Investigation Report

Beloved in the Lord,

The Province has just published a communication announcing the forthcoming release of the report by the third-party, investigative firm, Husch Blackwell. The report will address the investigation into the handling of sexual abuse allegations in the Diocese of the Upper Midwest.

We ask for the Lord to embrace and comfort all those who are impacted by this report. In the midst of these next steps, may our hope remain in the Author and Perfecter of our faith, as He guides us into all truth.

Furthermore, please continue to pray for the resolution of Mark Rivera’s trial, which resumed last Friday and is scheduled to continue again on Thursday, September 29, at 1:30 pm in the Kane County Judicial Center. Specific prayer points can be found here.
